This 1979 Porsche 911SC is a modified non-turbo “Flachbau” Slantnose widebody, completed in steel to a high standard. Power comes from a naturally-aspirated 3.0-liter fuel-injected flat-six paired to a 915 five-speed manual gearbox. With 113K indicated on the odometer, it comes equipped with a set of stainless headers, front-mounted oil cooler, updated instrumentation and new Fuchs-style wheels.
Finished in black over a handsome tan and black interior, this incredibly period-correct car evokes images of the Miami Vice era of excess.
The engine runs strong and doesn't smoke, the gearbox and clutch are tight and work as they should. Brakes are excellent, tires are nearly new, this car drives as good as it looks. Fiberglass slantnose conversions were very popular at in the late ‘80s, but this vehicle a legitimate steel-bodied car, complete with new Fuchs wheels.
Offered with a clean Washington State title, this rare, iconic Porsche is available to be seen by appointment in Seattle.
