This lovely 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa has single-family ownership since new. It was first registered in Washington and has been registered there since new. It now shows only 65K miles and is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with the Porsche Tiptronic transaxle and a factory limited-slip differential. In January 2020, a service included replacing the valve covers with Billet aluminum covers, new gaskets, and an engine oil & filter service. This 993 Targa is now offered on consignment with a clean Carfax report, records dating back to 1996, factory manuals, tools and a clean Washington title.

The car is finished in Schwartz-Pericolor (L744) and features a roof section that lifts and slides back when opened as well as the “basket-handle” rear spoiler. The seller has noted two rock chips on the forward surfaces, as well as minor scrapes underneath the front spoiler and some stress paint cracks in the front bumper. There are minor nicks and scratches below the wheel openings as well. The vehicle has been de-badged and has both the oval, chrome exhaust tips and the metal door sill with “Targa” badging.

The 17″ Targa-specific Speedline wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires at each corner. There are very minor curb scrapes on the passenger side rims and only a few very small scratches on the driver’s side. The tires have between 5/32” and 7/32” of tread remaining all around and plenty of brake pad remaining as well.

The interior is trimmed in black leather and features “Comfort” eight-way power-adjustable heated seats. Other features include a Sport steering wheel 363mm in leather, cruise control, and a Becker Porsche CDR-210 stereo. The interior is in excellent condition with no visible tears or damage anywhere.

The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six was recently equipped with a billet aluminum valve covers to replace the leaking stock covers. A December 2019 service included changing the oil and filter, as well as replacing the valve cover gaskets. A very recent PPI was also performed and is available upon request, along with additional photos.

A May 2020 Carfax report indicates no accident damage and shows registration history in Washington State only. A video containing walk-around and driving footage can be seen below.

Overall, this is quite a nice, one-family owned car since new and an excellent driver with very low miles for its age. Always garaged and properly maintained by either the original dealer, or reputable independent Porsche-specialty shops in the Seattle area.
